The household returns and ancillary records for the censuses of Ireland of 1901 and 1911, which are in the custody of the National Archives of Ireland, represent an extremely valuable part of the Irish national heritage.

 

Griffith's Valuation Database

 

Griffith's Valuation of Ireland. The primary valuation was the first full-scale valuation of property in Ireland. It was published between 1847 and 1864, and is one of the most important surviving 19th century genealogical sources.

 

 

Parish Registers

 

This website contains images from the NLI’s collection of Catholic parish register microfilms. The registers contain records of baptisms and marriages from the majority of Catholic parishes in Ireland and Northern Ireland up to 1880.
